It's a sad day for cinema. Michel Serrault, one of the most prolific and acclaimed French actors, passed away at the age of 79 years old.

You may have seen him in the original Birdcage adaptation, reprising the role he made famous in the French play.
Gene Hackman reprised his role in the adaptation of Under Suspicion. I recommend you one of his most controversial part, an aging killer in Assassin(s) directed by Mathieu Kassovitz. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0118644/

Sad, sad day.

"More importantly" ? :o

I liked him a lot in Snatch. :(
