This has been a really strong franchise so far. Hope this latest one can keep the good streak going.

Prequels/spin offs usually tend to do have lower numbers at the box office within the franchise. So I'm interested to see if people are going to be as supportive to this compare to the previous 2 films.

I still think they should have already released Part Three by now. With how the 2nd film ended. Its weird to have a prequel as the third film. I feel like this series is already losing momentum.

Not with Lupita Nyongo.

In an industry dominated by floating head posters, that's a really great poster design.

I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop and it'll be revealed that the poster was AI-generated. :o

Good to hear! Seeing it tomorrow.

Though is it just me or does blueavenger never actually say anything on here and just posts links? You sure they're not a bot?

Nobody on here has the username blueavenger.

Saw this today.

It was ok. Does nothing new to the concept. Lupita and Joseph's chemistry was good. Not a lot of the monsters this time around. It's 90% human interactions which made the trailers misleading.

The first two films are vastly superior. Heck, the meteor landing that Krasinski observes and the whole scene afterwards in Part 2 does a better job at showing "Day One" than this film does in its entirety... Even if taking place in NY.

I will probably forget about this one in a few days.

Still a good cinema experience.

6/10.
