Fiction? Well, I think some of it is a bunch of lies. But there is some truth to what they claim. Read it. Alot of there claims and evidence recorded will offend you if you're a catholic or christain.

Dude, fiction is made up stories. Da Vinci Code uses some historical facts and creates a fictional story. It's found in the fiction section of any library/bookstore/etc. And more specifically it is realistic fiction. So are you just offended because it's plausible, or because it's so ridiculous that you feel it insults your intelligence?

Since the book is sold in the fiction section of bookstores, and is stocked in the fiction section in the library, then yes. It is fiction.

And while Dan Brown didn't create the entire conspiracy theory of the holy grail being the bloodline of "christ", he used a "controversial" idea as a major point in his book knowing that it'd sell like crazy. Which it did.

There's nothing conspiritorial about an author using controversy to make a fortune.

Besides, if you get so offended that a work of fiction mentions a conspiracy theory regarding your faith, doesn't that show how weak your personal faith is?

No, assumptions. I had a hell of a time getting in the movie theatre during that time frame because of protesters.
