I'm somewhat fine with the opposite as long as the spirit of the character doesn't really suffer for it in the long run. A good example would be someone like Matt Reeves' Riddler. MCU Bullseye is the polar opposite. I'm absolutely sick of them dragging out his arc, I'm more than ready for him...

Just popping in to say this: Will the MCU ever stop with the "Poor Bullseye 😢" stuff??? He's a psychotic mass murderer, not Harvey Dent. Season 3 was a nice starting point but this seriously needs to stop lol, it's not that far off from what Telltale or Todd Phillips tried doing with The Joker.

I don't see them going that far with the Waynes here at all, although I think Reeves would pull that whole angle off far better than Gunn did anyways.

Considering there's a strong chance DCU Batman winds up being some TV/Prime Video guy like Sklenar....no thanks.

I'm gonna be the most insufferable little freak in the world and say that I don't really like double-dipping when it comes to CBMs, nor do I want such great talent wasted by the DCU and Gunn's creative sensibilities.

Eh, he's sorta combined Riddler with Anarky and to a lesser extent Hush, and Joker here has Croc's backstory so it's not necessarily that cut and dry.

Accepting it because I love Hush's design and name, and ultimately it's in service of Bruce's arc so I get it.

And if he DOES want to use Freeze for some reason, and finds some way to fit him into the narrative? The Raimi Venom thing is a bit of a false equivalency. What you're talking about is more of a Todd Phillips Joker situation and even then, Reeves is a far better and more creative writer.
