Finally figured out she read her Network adapter number wrong and we were trying to connect the wrong driver. We went to look for it only to discover it was EOL and I was able to find it through Reddit. Thankfully someone figured out Intel simply hides their links for older drivers.

Well I was able to solve the issue with OneDrive, but her computer won't install any Intel Bluetooth driver. It keeps telling us her system doesn't support it. I ran a command in Windows terminal to scan for any corrupted files and it all came back clean. @Gee any suggestions?
  • Win+X > Device Manager
  • Right-click on computer name > Scan for hardware changes
Is there a Bluetooth treelist node (should be under Audio Inputs/Outputs)? Any nodes with a question mark icon?

What's the motherboard brand and model?

Did all that it was an Intel AC Wireless 7260, but it wasn't installing the bluetooth driver for it.

So Copilot is a worse Cortana. :funny:

Why is Google Chrome so hard to install on Windows? Why does it need its own installer. Why can't it be like Linux where I can just download and build it from a repository through their app center. I know part of it is MS, but Google do better and simplify the process.

Oh, I had not seen your post above mine when I responded.

Uhh why would you want to install something on Windows via a command prompt or some package manager? Unless you are a sysadmin that needs to install Chrome on hundreds/thousands of computers...

Try Chocolatey maybe?

My point was we have that option in the Linux space along with a simple click to install with an App Store. MS doesn't have Chrome in theirs due to the two being rivals and Google opted not to use a simple installation wizard when you download the EXE from their site.

I don't use Chrome, so I had to check on the website.

It does have an EXE and it will download and install all the necessary files. If you actually want the offline installer, you have to use this link:

Alternatively, you can use the unofficial portable version:

Amiga lives on in MorphOS that will soon support AMD 64 architecture.

Thank goodness for aftermarket vinyl skins.

Still, I'll believe it when I'll see the RDR1 banner on the Steam frontpage.

So Google Gemini can control your phone and open apps, but Copilot cannot do the same on PC anymore... Good job Microsoft.

I'll wait until they actually announce canceling it. Recall existing for Insiders is still a huge red flag.

Tried Copilot to look up an actor from a picture as I wasn't sure of their name and it couldn't do it. I used Gemini on my phone via Circle Search and it found it. :funny:

Totally not going on eBay and looking at old iMac G3s. :o

Google Lens will find them and will also translate foreign languages in photos for you. It's how I translate my French cookbooks now.
