A women's volleyball match between USA vs China was epic!

A valiant effort by US team after trailing 0-2 after 2 set, and then stormed back to win set 3 and 4 to make it 2-2...and then in set 5, a late run by the chinese ladies seal the win for them 15-13 to make it 3-2 for team China.

This is why I love watching sports!
Hope they can meet again for gold medal match!

I think posting this is okay since Japan leads the overall standings so far This is such a rivalry so far.

Im a little bit sad no medal in canoe for Germany with a 4th place and a missed gate.

Adam Peaty (GB swimming) a couple of hundredths of a second away from getting his third consecutive gold in the same event at 3 Olympics. Very impressive given all his issues in the build up.

Just finished watching the delay broadcast of swimming finals
(Women's 400m individual medley, men's 100m backstroke, women's 100m breaststroke, men's 200m freestyle, and women's 200m freestyle).

5 finals, 5 different nations won the gold!
I was most impressed by Summer Mcintosh (Canada) win in women's 400m IM, beating two female US swimmers in the process (both ended up silver and bronze)...

And shoutout to Chinese swimmers who manage to get 2 silver in both women's and men's....never knew China was also good at swimming

It turns out our stamina has been dropped off big in OT...

2 consecutive 3 makes it 90-92, 10sec to go in OT

Final: Japan 90, France 94

We had big chance to win in normal times,but a questionable foul call that benefits France with that 4point play, has cost us the game. Comes OT, we had no gas left to match with France big like Wemby who scored 8 points and 2 blocks in OT, and also Gobert with a couple of block.

Oh well...it is soooooo close for Japan to win, that its kinda tough to process and cope this

There was no contact whatsoever on that play!!

I apologize if I sounded a little bit emotional ...it was really a tough lost and I didnt see any reason why Japan should be lose in that game.

I just wish there is a "challenge rule" in the Olympics, like in the NBA so the refs can review the play and overturn the call if the call has deemed wrong like in the case here.

Imane Khelif (Algeria) defeats an italian woman in 46 seconds in boxing. Khelif wasnt allowed to participate in world championships since she failed the hormon tests with too much testosterone and proved she had XY-chromosone. Olympic committee allowed her to participate.

Uhm.. The girl can do what she want with her body but I understand a lot of people are upset about that.

Don’t apologize at all. I didn’t see the game (US broadcasts often fail to show basketball) so it was a blast having you call it on here.

Really stinks to lose on a bad call.

I still haven’t gotten over UK losing to Florida in overtime in 2014 on the last play of the game when play clock and game clock had already hit zero before the play got off.
