By Star Wars, I hope they mean the whole series. I'm also disappointed by the lack of comic movies. I'll keep the list in mind though.

I counted twelve. Out of the hundred movies to see before death... I think that's a good number. It could have been all super classics serious movies.

I meant common knowledge for the regular movie goer of the comics, obviously I should do research, but I won't.

I've seen 91 out of those 100 movies. I'd say I can do without the 9 I haven't seen.

I compared notes with a friend of mine, turns out I missed two comedies. So that's fourteen comedies on the list... and that's a good number of comedies for a flick list like this.

I've seen only 30...

There is a lot of suck and meh on that list, which is typical. There are a few very good movies on there (though it's missing Ghostbusters :cmad:).

Yeah, it's like, "uhh... do I really need to see When Harry Met Sally before I die? Really?" I think not.

Why would the prequels be on any list of movies to see before you die?

Well, they are all connected. I would sugguest seeing them all, if not having seen them. You can't watch one without watching all of them, imo. That is if they're not turned off by the dated originals. That's just all my friends though. As well as the other problems related to the prequels that I won't delve into, that my parents and other adults have told me. Personally, I love all of them and recommend seeing them before death.

No Night of the hunter or White Heat. Not a good list.

completely biased towards the "classics"

yawn

Not a bad list, I'd replace Terminator 2 with The Terminator, take out Titanic and replace it with Superman.

There's about ten obsucre old movies I can replace them with Heat, Children of Men, Se7en, Collateral, Memento, Zodiac, Reservoir Dogs, First Blood, The Thing and most importantly Once Upon a Time in the West.

I've seen 45 of them. Not sure what to make of that list and I am in full support of dude's replacements.

I've seen most of them, what no taxi driver?

It's a shame that they have two Scorsese pictures on this list but his best film Mean Streets never gets included in any of these lists.

Given some of the ommissions, I'm surprised that Groundhog Day is on there. I totally agree about the entire Star Wars saga being excluded. Those movies changed the way movies are made, marketed, and viewed. I'm also surprised that Star Trek II is missing in action. That has perhaps the best death scene in all of cinema. Likewise, I'd say Dracula should be on there, but Nosferatu is an acceptable replacement.

Oh, and I've seen about 47 of those films. There are a few of the really old classics I've never seen, but I'm sure I will eventually.

Do you know how many hours I would have to spend watch all the ones I've missed, they might not even be good because of all the hype. Then again, I do have a lot of time to waste in retirement, but that's like 50 years from now, and even by then the movies will change anyway.

Actually, I've since changed my mind....

I'd keep both The Terminator and Terminator 2

I've seen 33 of them for the record

but all in all theres probably only another 10 or so that id bother with
