130+ Children killed in Pakistan School Attack

Fatima Bhutto-

In places like the frontiers of Pakistan, life is marginal, dangerous and difficult. Parents lives and hopes are bound to their children; their only ambition that they might leave their children established in the world when they die.

So much human love, hope and struggle has been extinguished.

The murderers shouldn't be called "animals", because animals kill in order to sate a biological need to feed themselves and their young. The murderers were sub-animal. I hope Death comes for them in the night, with blunted claws.

Chimps and other monkeys have been known to kill each other, including adolescents just for kicks. But then Chimps are pretty close to humans so...

Either way the scum who did this are beyond reason and are utterly repugnant.

And if anyone initiates action against them suddenly they'll be seen as the monsters. And so it goes.

It mostly depends on which imaginary version of that being you want to buy into.

I was just saying that they truly believe that their God actually IS proud of them for doing such heinous things.

I just don't get the Taliban. How do you get to be that ****ed up? I mean, even in the Middle Ages this would be frowned upon.

Even the Afghanistan Taliban have condemned these attacks.

The Afghanistan Taliban on Tuesday condemned their Pakistani counterpart over an attack on a school in Peshawar that killed 141 people.

"The intentional killing of innocent people, children and women are against the basics of Islam and this criteria has to be considered by every Islamic party and government," group spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said in a statement quoted by Reuters.

The Pakistani Taliban are separate from but allied to the Afghan Taliban across the border. Both aim to overthrow their own governments and establish an Islamic state instead.
