Is this Modern or Centuries old!? If this truly is old maybe Aliens do exist. Maybe Ridley Scott was actually abducted and shown these creatures only to come back to Earth to share his vision with the world on the Silver Screen!

The moss in the mouth is a nice touch. But there's no way that's real :hehe:

Yeah it hasn't eroded like the structure around it. If they wanted it to look natural they wouldn't have made it look soo clean.

It's wouldn't have, Nicholas, not wouldn't of! Gall!!!

I always do that lol thanks grammar nazi, thats what I wanted this thread to turn into :D

Hey, it's bad enough the Oxford English Dictionary has become corrupt :o :csad:

It's highly unlikely that's it's real, probably some movie fan just put it up there.

That's what they said in the article. The original gargoyles had crumbled and the resident pastor thought one of the stone masons was being "mischievous" :hehe:

Of course it's not real. It would have been noticed decades ago for the mere fact it's so different and more detailed than the usual gargoyles of that era, Aliens movie or no Aliens movie. It's a dumb prank and a dumb and bored media reporting on it.

well aren't you just a ray of sunshine today JJJ

Hey at least I didn't criticize your grammar. :o

Don't take it personally. I just hate when the media reports on this kind of stuff.

lol I didn't take it personally at all I'm just busting on ya. Hey! I corrected myself damn it. Let me live my life!

hold people are actually believing this is centuries old

someone when making the gargoyles or replacing damaged ones was just a fan of the movies

hell a french one has a xeno, gizmo and a gremlin

http://www.fearnet.com/news/news-article/french-church-goes-cute-changing-gargoyles-gremlins

did that mean there were mogwai's and little green monsters who liked to break dance running around the earth years and years ago

you wish to correct my grammar, with that excess use of Exclamation marks. Which in itself is an extremely poor use of said grammar, that you seemed to love so dearly.

when in fact it was not grammatical error but that of a simple spelling mistake which makes it an entirely different aspect of the English language

Multiple exclamation marks and/or capital letters are an acceptable expression of excessive exasperation or perturbation on a forum :o

SPELLING/GRAMMAR SLAM! :argh:

you are really going to use etiquette of posting on an internet forum as a good example of behavior and use of the English language

and by the way its excesses not excessed as in:

GRAMMAR SLAM :argh:

Now we need Fox news stating that gargoyles are turning people into murderers.

Nick, if I was the President everybody in here would know. :p

Just close out the state of the union address with "And just wanted to say hi to all the hypesters"
