Ben Affleck as Batman: Yay or Nay? I have stayed away from the batforums on purpose after I heard this announcement. I have a very, very hard time seeing him as Batman OR Bruce Wayne. To be completely honest with you, it gives me George Clooney feelings all over again.

Hey Marx, long time no see. I guess now is as good of a time as any to ask you if you would be cool with me hosting a Hype Survivor? No one seems to have any plans to run one for at least another few months or so, and I feel like it's the perfect time to do mine right now. I've got a lot of challenge ideas ready and a great idea that would change the format up.

If not, it could even run as a standalone thing. But I'd prefer if it could be allowed as an official Hype Survivor.

Hey GK! It has been a while.

I personally have no problem with it at all but I'm not entirely sure how that whole process works. (I have played a couple of times and been a judge several times but never hosted.) I think the next few Survivors have been spoken for. You may want to contact Hunter Rider though. He has hosted before and probably knows a lot more about it than I do.

DC or Marvel This is tough. I love Superman and Batman but Marvel's string of movies has made me a big fan of the Avengers and the X-men too.

What would you do to turn around the misfortunes at DC & set them on the right track? I would fire whoever suggested that Batman should be included into the MOS sequel. As I've said before, Henry Cavill is more than capable of carrying a successful sequel on his own. The first Superman movie was great! DC needs to take notes from Marvel and how they have handled all of their properties. Avengers was a massive success because Marvel and their studios took their time to build up each character. DC seems to want to replicate that but they're rushing it and you just can't do that.

Which DC property would you fast track to the big screen? Truthfully, I would like to see a new Wonder Woman movie.

Are you a Bond fan?? Which is your favorite movie in the entire franchise? Yes I am. It's really hard to pick a favorite but I really, really enjoyed Skyfall.

It's really not. I have been a moderator on this website for several years now and it's a thankless job. As with any job, there will always be more complaints than praise that you have to deal with. My inbox is filled with far more "the nolanites drive me crazy, do something!" and "you guys are all just power hungry jerks" than "thank you for doing what you do". The bottom line is that we all try, for better or worse, to make this forum a fun place filled with a lot of great conversations. I would've stepped down a long time ago if I didn't enjoy it.

What's so special about Uncle Joker Sam? Your avatar. I have always had a version of JokerSam as my avvy. I began lurking here around the time of Batman Begins and finally joined around TDK. I have always loved politics and JokerSam was a part of one of the virals for TDK so it pretty much combined two of my favorite things - Batman and politics. I took it as an avvy and the rest is history.

"It can't rain all the time." Explain? It's one of the most memorable quotes from the movie, "The Crow" with Brandon Lee. I am a huge fan of that movie and that quote, in particular, is something that has stuck with me for years. I have always had it in my signature here on the hype, on my myspace (back in the day), on my facebook, and on a key chain on my car keys. To me, it means that no matter how hard things get or how difficult something may seem, it won't always be that way. It will improve.

I would post a clip of the scene from the movie but it contains a word that isn't appropriate for the hype. Here is the song from the movie though. It's one of the most powerful songs out there, in my opinion.
