Where do you see yourself and what do you see yourself doing 10 years from now?
Living a quiet life of solitude here in the mountains. Well, mostly quiet. I accept visitors and will play loud music from time to time.
Steven.
Who do you feel closest to here on the Hype?
Panthro and I drifted apart due to my iffy internet access, unfortunately. I would say. . . the n00b known as "Judgespektre".
If you were to meet any Hypester in real life, who would it be and what would you do?
The user "<(o_o)>". We could have lunch while I figure out what's going on in his head.
Where is home for you? Where would you like home to be?
Colorado is home, and that's fine, but maybe someday I'll try out Canada for the sake of it.
List 15 superheroes you enjoy following their stories. A why with each one would be better.
I am behind on current titles, but these are what I've followed within the past few years. . .
Green Lantern (Alan Scott); presently in the 'Earth 2' series. I think GL works best as fantasy without the soft sci-fi trappings.
Superman (Smallville: Season 11). People recommended I watch the television series through before reading. I watched seasons 1-4 and started. I had to ask why Lex's hand was burned, and I had zero idea what his sister hallucination was all about. But it's a great series so far. The Superman here is young, but has already been there, done that. He knows what he's doing.
Wonder Woman (New 52). It's cool how they ditched the traditional superhero formula and had her go on adventures hyper-focused on Greek mythology. I can fondly recall entire panels in detail from many months ago. THAT is rare. The god redesigns are cool with me, btw.
Enjoyed ULTIMATE X-MEN until Ultimatum. FANTASTIC FOUR of 2012-13 (?). . . where the family takes a one year trip into space. SHE-HULK. . . last saw her in FF, but I've read the Byrne and Slott series both through.
List 30 movies you wish to see. Reasons would be better
Alien 3 - Movie has a weird reputation. I can never seem to buckle down and watch it. The first two were masterpieces of sci-fi.
John Carpenter's THE THING - A classic I have yet to watch.
The Godfather (1972) - A classic I have yet to watch.
Citizen Kane
- - -
More recent. . .
Thor: The Dark World - First one was good. I felt Thor's character development was a bit too quick, but his 'fallen prince' arc went well with Loki's 'envious adopted son'. And the visuals were nice.
Star Trek: Into Darkness
Iron Man 3
Why did DC comics mess the character you chose to name yourself after in Infinite Crisis as badly as they did?
I guess they were aiming for "so twisted yet free-spirited that you like him", but they ended up with "immature and stupidly insane".
Ian McKellen. . . Jennifer Connelly or Audrey Hepburn.
Actor/actress you'd watch their movies no matter how bad the movie may be?
Nicolas Cage is the king of this to me.
