Action Comics #1 the very first issue that Superman appeared in goes for 2.16 mill. It had a 9.0 professional grade

Waaay over-valued. A little over 10 years ago comics like action #1 and detective comics 27 were selling for maybe a hundred grand plus. What happened the last 10 years? the whole super hero movie trend explosion which made super heroes super hot in the mainstream.

What happens when the super-hero trend dies down? these prices will drop as well.

i didnt know one existed graded as high as 9. i thought the one graded 8.5 that sold for 1.5 million a couple years ago was the highest graded copy.

the other month i held in my hands a copy graded a 6. only 5 copies exist graded 4 and above.
