30" monitor for gaming???

I have noticed that Dell has announced a 30" monitor, and some people just thinking about use it for gaming:

Well personally I do think $1199 is too expensive for me, with that budget I can get a tv.

I use my 22' LCD for both my computer, and when I play xbox with no friends over...works well enough for me.

yes just get a tv instead. You can get at least a 40" tv with that much money

just get an HD TV and hook it up to your computer.
