7 years and on

Hey folks, i know this may be bordering on the cheesy side but just thought i'd write this out.

Now past April, I, and many others have been on this board for now 7 years and I just wanted to say to all of them like Matt- i kid you not and several others, congrats for being on this long and enjoying the ride of virtual part of life on this site especially being the oldest official member of the hype boards.

And to the rest of you all, thanks for making this place all it is, the good the bad the ugly, everything, this is my most consistently visited site and I actually look forward every day coming on here and seeing the new posters and views and different posts people put on here and all the ideas as well, both crap and good... it's simply fantastic to have this place and in all honesty, it has definitely become part of my life, and I mean a good one as well especially with all the relative **** i've been through only a few of whom really know. I realize I should post more often especially with being the oldest one but current conflicts in life, current things in life prevent me from often posting yet still when I do post i make sure it's a damn long one but i will improve upon it especially for the upcoming years.

So for all the ridiculousness, for all the fun, the joy, the arguments, the heated discussions, all the enjoyment of it all, I just wanted to say Thanks to everyone on this board regardless of whether you know me at all or not for making this such a fantastic place and I hope each and everyone of you keep participating and keeping up the posts and involvement on this board... it is by far the greatest board... as michael caine would put it... EVA!

nice thread echostation. kudos to you for taking the time to appreciate this place. i've known about SHH since it as Spider-Man Hype, hehe. it's definitely the website i visit most and i've given countless hours to the boards and i wouldn't have it any other way. it's a great place to get your nerd on!

Going on 5 years, I feel the same way.

It sounds dumb, but when I first joined, SHH! was a place I could come and forget **** when I was having a hard time growing up.

And the hilarity that ensues on these boards has kept me coming back.

This is my favorite message board on the Internet, too. I haven't posted on this message board a lot, but I have lurked here a lot for a long time (since 2003, after DAREDEVIL was released). I mean, though I've never actually stated this, there are a lot of members who annoy me (with their terrible taste in movies and lack of understanding of the process of the Oscars, and nerdy fanboys who just want comic books directly translated into movies, such as idiots who exaggerate their hatred of SUPERMAN RETURNS). I still lurk and post on this message board, though, because those whose posts I actually enjoy reading greatly outnumber those whom I listed above. There are a lot of funny people who post on this message board, so thanks for making me laugh at night whenever I cannot fall asleep!

I enjoyed reading everyone of them and props to Drakon for being a solid mod so far, Matt - 3 cheers to you man you're by far the best model example of what a classic hypester should be and I need to be more up to that especially with all the enjoyment I've gotten from this message board I should contribute more! To Jack rabbit, dorky fresh, Plas, classic replies and I agree with all of ya, keep up the hype!
