He's only 9, but this pint-sized pickup artist already knows plenty about pleasing the ladies.

So much, in fact, that Alec Greven's dating primer, "How to Talk to Girls" - which began as a handwritten, $3 pamphlet sold at his school book fair - hit the shelves nationwide last week.

The fourth-grader from Castle Rock, Colo., advises Lothario wannabes to stop showing off, go easy on the compliments to avoid looking desperate - and be wary of "pretty girls."
I'm sorry, this is abso-f***in'-lutely ******ed:huh:. I bet you could ruin this kids entire perception of women by simply explaining to him how babies are made  :down.

I'm sure the book is targeted toward other fouth graders and not adults...lol

It's tongue in cheek surely.

Ha ha, avoid "pretty girls." This kid is destined to be the greatest wingman ever.

"Make sure you get your cootie shot before you get to close."

I read an article on this kid on yahoo. He thinks 15-16 year olds are OLD.

I doubt he really does. He is just playing up the cutesy angle for the press to sell his book.

Is there a chapter on when to go for the high-five?

Usually about halfway through the three way...it's called the Eiffel Tower...Er...That's not what you meant, is it?

Probably knows as much as some of the posters here....

*rim shot*

JAL should buy it, it couldn't get any worse.

Going by the pics the NY Post put of this kid in the story showing him hanging out in a bar and chatting up women who are holding bottles of beer, he's already learned one of the most valuable lessons of all: Women are easier when they are liquored up.

In this day and age, i wouldn't undermine the opinion of a 9 year old.

say he had a single mother who had gone on 6 years worth of bad dates and he has had clear insight into why each of them didn't work out.

that's six years more than the average cluessless 16 year old.

and his advice is universally sound. one shouldn't be afraind from taking advice from all avenues as long as its good advice.

Maybe the uncluttered unbias unhurt opinion of a child is the clearest way to put that out there. Most people give relationship advice with a slight tone of bitterness in their mouth about getting tripped up over the same thing earlier on in their lives.

This morning on "The Today Show" he was saying he got more attention now from women after going on TV. So he's basically figured out the two biggest sources of attraction: money and fame.

There's only one thing you need to know when picking up girls, go to Hooters.

he's got the formula down, you know there is some girl out there dying to be his "first"

It's only a matter of time before he discovers the practical uses of GHB and chloroform.
