I cant say I was a huge fan of the original, but I've got high hopes for this one, for two different reasons.

1. Jessica Walter- She was HILARIOUS as the matriarch on Arrested Development and now shes playing a similar role here. Sounds great.

2. Hot chicks. Shenae Grimes, Jessica Stroup, Annalynne McCord. Check it out...

I can't say I'm a fan but I'm sure there are people out there excited by this. I say bring back jason priestley.

I'm kinda excited by it. Since Rob Thomas worked on it for a while. The man was behind Veronica Mars. So...

I do wonder how they'll write Annalyne McCord's character out of Nip/Tuck however, when she's pretty important to the plotlines over there on that show.

They might not have to. Because Nip/Tuck has short seasons she may be able to do both.

im somewhat excited to see this. It could be great if they do it right but ofcourse could be so bad if handled improperly. Having Jennie Garth and possibly Tori and Jason come back to reprised their roles for some epiosdes is exciting, though I just want Shannen to make an appearance.

Never really watched the original but I am a sucker for teen dramas. It's on the CW so it can't be too bad.

They keep re airing the same teaser over & over again like a certain bunny

So does this mean that Jessica Stroup won't be back for Reaper?

I want Ian Ziering to come back as a fat loser trying to seduce Jennie Garth's character.

Yeah, that's VERY noticeable. What was she thinking wearing a backless dress? I'd still bend her over a kitchen counter, but yeah, get some calomine lotion or something, honey!

Second That. Let's hope the balding Luke Perry shows up along with Brian Austin Green playing the Poser David Silver. It would be so much fun to watch him trying to be cool and "hip" with these kids. I don't think Andrea is going to make it though. How old is Gabrielle Carteris anyway? I

He's involved with three shows that will appear in the fall and midseason. See how the clips are first and hopefully its good.

i hope the original cast gets good screentime.
and remember, last we left, Donna and David got married.
i bet it's gonna be good/interesting for the first couple episodes, then it will get old real quick. they'd need a good timeslot to keep this series alive.

that one girl who was in Reaper is hot. I'd watch the show for her.

Two articles talking about 90210/Shannen Doherty

Jennie Garth is returning to her famed zip code in the CW's 90210 spinoff, but will her reel and real foe Shannen Doherty be joining her?

No confirmation yet, but should it happen, Jennie says she won’t be opposed to sharing the screen with her former co-star.

"If Shannen comes to do the show... Excellent,” Jennie tells Extra. “The fans would love it. I'm a big girl. I can handle anything."

The actresses famously feuded during their time together on Beverly Hills 90210, even getting into a catfight, Tori Spelling claimed in her memoir, sTORItelling.

Tori herself is also gunning for a return as Donna Martin and reveals she’s thisclose to signing the dotted line.

"I've been in talks with them,” she says. “They have approached me and so I'm hoping it works out.”

With or without Shannen or Tori, Jennie is pumped to reprise her role as Kelly Taylor – a part she played for 10 years.

"I am coming back as Kelly Taylor," Jennie says. "I can't even believe it. I haven't even said it out loud."

The 36-year-old will be a recurring guest star on the series, which also stars another iconic 90s actress – Full House’s Lori Loughlin, who is shocked by the fan reception.

"The fans are losing their minds," she says. "How exciting is this? It's such a great franchise, such a big success the first time around. Hopefully we can do it justice."

Jennie Garth may want Shannen Doherty to return for the 90210 spinoff, but Lori Loughlin sure doesn’t.

“I don't think Shannen will. No.” the actress tells OK!. “I don't think anyone wants to touch that.”

But the show will embrace Tori Spelling with open arms. Donna Martin’s real-life alter ego has been angling for a role in the CW series since the news was announced. But Tori, who’s due next month with her second child, may need to take a short maternity leave first.

“I think they are waiting for her to have her baby and then they're going to - there's definitely a role for her though in the pilot, like a small little cameo thing which will be fun,” Lori says. “But then I think they'll have her back.”

The 43-year-old has also heard “rumblings” of Luke Perry returning, but claims to not know much else. Having already talked to Jennie about the show, the star now can hardly wait to start production on June 25.

“I'm so excited. I've seen a script. It's good," she says. "I really like it. It's definitely the contemporary 90210. It's touching on what teenagers are going through nowadays, which is a little bit -- I don't want to say faster, but they are definitely exposed to more at this time. Kids today, they have a lot to handle. They grow up so fast.”

Frankly, I want Shannen to return for a cameo espically to help wrap up her charecter some more. And I think if they wrote a Brenda appearance well enough, Shannen would probably be up for it. As far as Lori saying that she thinks no one would want to touch that, its not as if Shannen is still in her bad girl days, she has certainly matured and made ammends with everyone from 90210.

And when Tori/Donna returns, I hope they dont have her and david as divorced.

This is turning into the 16th season (or however many seasons it was) of the original series.

Not liking how this is looking one bit. Seems more of a revival of the O.C. than 90210.

This is gonna be the US's version of Degrassi:The Next Generation.:o

I seem to have some dramatic prejudice against the CW...

Which is sad, 'cause that show gets mad play here in the states as it is. That show is so huge, it took over Noggin to the point that they had to create a separate freakin' network for it!!

I hope its far from an OC rippoff (just wasnt a big fan of the show). They already have 10 years of Bev 90210 to look at when it comes to writing the show, shouldnt be that hard.

Something that was so great about 90210 is that it was about the teens. Parents were regularly shown but didnt play that big of a role like they like to do in todays teen dramas.

Hopefully they dont screw it up but wouldnt be surprised nowadays.
