Anybody have one?

"Just a gangsta I suppose." -- Avon Barksdale

Telekinesis
cryokinesis
melting
memory
hearing

Thats all I remember but he has more.

All of them. Sylar has multiple powers, but Telekinesis is pretty much anything he want's. On top of super hearing, photographic memory/advanced learning...matter mainpulation, he's becoming a powerhouse.

It will be fun when he brawls with Peter once Pete learns how to control his own powerset.

But Peter has a serious regeneration advantage that Sylar tried to, but never got.

I think Sylar is the one who is going to explode.

he's also sorta invulnerable isn't he? He can't be pierced by bullets.

& lets not forget that Peter will be getting the rest of Sylars new powers after this encounter :wow:

Are you sure? I don't just mean when Mohinder shot him, but when Eden confronted him he said the bullet wouldn't hurt him.

he also has some power that he uses to cut people's heads open. and no, he isn't using telekinesis when he does it.

I'm thinking Sylar possesses some type of tactile telekinesis, similar to Superboy(Kon-El). That would explain how he's able to deflect bullets, launch himself 20+ feet in the air and give people the ultimate buzz cut. All of these feats are supported by TT.

Just my opinion, though.

But Tactile TK isn't a real superpower, just some filibustering pseudo-science made up by DC...

And honestly, if Sylar was catching bullets in midair, then he'd catch them in the air, not as they're hitting his chest. Likewise, if he's using just TK to 'pseudo-fly' why doesn't he ACTUALLY fly? There are other powers at work beyond just TK here in those cases... even though it COULD be TK, that wouldn't explain why he doesn't kill people from a distance with a TK cut to the eye or temple, or why he fell from being shot.

I'm almost sure it's not just TK...

All of them. Sylar has multiple powers, but Telekinesis is pretty much anything he want's.

Power does not equal control. Ability does not equal skill. Sylar doesn't know how to, for instance, speed up things on a molecular level with his TK, or telekinetically rearange your thoughts...

Explain on, this does make some sense. I doubt telekinesis alone cut heads open.

As I mentioned, Peter's lock of hair was cleanly cut off. Telekinesis would happen at the point that the target object "exists" or "begins". In this case, it would happen at the skin. Things in between that contact point, such as Peter's hair, would not be affected. And who ever heard of telekinesis being used to rip skin and bone apart? It's a lazy explanation for someone with no imagination. Almost panacea. Does Sylar move his finger just for show and effect? I don't think so. There is something surgically precise about the power. It doesn't appear to be the same as being able to fling a locker door across a hallway.

Intersting thoughts. About the list - we don't know all the powers because there are still poeple killed by Sylar and we don't know what powers did they have - it's a backdoor for the writers, so, I guess the skull cutting thing could be explained in the future as another stolen ability, not the TK.

Oh, and hello everyone ;)

I would think with telekinesis one could rip limbs off but not cut flesh. How many people has he killed?

Another suggestive bit regarding his opening of skulls...the sound of an electric saw was used both times last night (Peter and Isaac). obviously, it's for effect, but i think it also hints at his ability being something other than telekinesis.
