Due to positive test screenings, press reviews and aggressive festival rollouts, A Monster Calls is moving off the crowded October 21, 2016 date. It will get a limited run on December 23, and expand nationwide on January 6, 2017.

Awesome to hear about the positive feedback. As said earlier, this film in my mind is a guarantee for several academy award nods. Now hearing it captures the greatness of the book, a definite. Supporting actress, best adapted screenplay, art design, and a best picture nomination (out of at least the trailers I've seen so far, think it has this one locked down due to subject matter and how it's handled).
