Ladies and Gentlemen!

Two members of the boards have created their very own comic book. And it is called Man Bites Man.

http://www.ManBitesMan.com

It is a 4-part survival horror mini-series!

Written by Patrick Peña and featuring the amazing art of Mohammad Jilani!

Here is a sample of some of the art from the book:

How far would you be willing to go when you are trapped inside without any food or communication?

So as members of the SHH Community, we wanted to share out creation with you and hope for some support. Check out the website, check out the Facebook page and like us. And if you are interested in purchasing the book...

Issue 1: http://www.indyplanet.com/store/product_info.php?products_id=4707

Issue 2: http://www.indyplanet.com/store/product_info.php?products_id=5132

Issue 3 is almost complete and will be available in mid-July!

So we hope you check out the book and feel free to ask any question here in the thread!

My favorite part was when Rick woke up from a coma.

You will find that it is nothing like the Walking Dead. Last time I checked, Kirkman did not invent survival horror, nor did he invent zombies. He mearly took a George Romero story and never ended it. This is a very specific story about human survival that actually does not include very many zombies.

Your "joke" is uncalled for.

You should block the curseword in that panel.

Otherwise it looks GREAT!

:doom: :doom: :doom:

Yeah, good idea. I'll do that, and thank you, Franklin.

very nice artwork. nice to see to hype members coming together to collaborate on a project

best of luck!

Awesome work, Lucha. Best of luck!

thank you, comicchick, and scar.

and yes, son...so do i.

The art is amazing, unlike anything else out there, and trust me when I say the story is wildly more original than you would expect from a zombie book. It is a zombie book without zombies.

Zombies are so played out at this point that the only way to do something fresh with them is to turn the genre on its head. We've had our fill of wall to wall zombie mayhem in video games, TV, comic books, and movies, so now we need something new. And here it is.

Just wondering, have you read "Dead Eyes Open" Lucha?

artwork is great! from one comic creator to another...good luck with your creation!

Great artwork. I wish you the best.

Very impressive artwork. I wish you the best of luck!!

Just wanted to thank you all for the compliments. i wouldnt be slogging it all night every night to bring this comic to life had i not an amazing story to work with. its dark...really dark. its b/w and about humans and zombies, but mainly about humans attempting to keep that line between the living and the living dead from blurring.

There will be more updates along the way as we get closer to completion. we have prepublication standalone issues available on our site, but a lot of the art will be updated for the final release as a graphic novel. we are hopeful for an october release, but until then it would be awesome for ya'll to help the boys out and spread the word. maybe be one of the cool kids and follow us on fb, yea?

until next time.

Update!

The book is finished!

The full graphic novel will be available before the end of the year through our website.

Also at Manbitesman.com there is a free preview of the book available. It is a flashback that takes place before the events of the book. Check out the art and writing style in there!
