Seems plausible enough. It's a much longer game than Gears of War if this is true.

Atleast Gears is twice as long as Lost Planet :o

Gah i got bored of Lost Planet after an hour.

Gears may have been short, but it was intense the whole way through, so i can let its short legth slide.

Also, any word on if you have to play as that monster thing that you did in Halo 2?

You don't have to play as the Arbiter, no. But he is a co-op ally.

Pathways? That was a name of a game that they developed way back when.

"Pathways into Darkness" was supposed to be awesome. It's described as an FPS/RPG which brings to mind games like System Shock and Deus Ex, but apparently involved creepy conversations with dead Nazis on your way to kill an ancient god with a nuclear device.

Sounds like it needs a remake! :D

Yeah, that would probably be a cool game to see a remake of. Actually, any of their IP from the early 90s would be primed for a remake.. their ideas for games were pretty amazing back then. Still are good today.

Though, I don't know the legal problems one might face remaking it. Mainly because that was back when it was mainly just Jason Jones and Alex Seropian making games out of an apartment. And since then, Seropian has left and started Wideload games and what not.

Yeah, Pathways Into Darkness is the series that spawned Marathon (which is sort of a sequel to it)...I wouldnt mind seeing a Pathways remake followed by remakes of all 3 Marathons...

But anyway, you know what makes me super happy about that list, if it's all correct? No Library level :D

The Library will be the middle 5 levels of the game. Hope you enjoy shotgunning endless hordes of Flood.

Meh. I don't want another Library. The first Library was cool and all, but after that I don't need another, and another Library. I just want an environ that looks cool and isn't so damn repetitive.

I agree. The best Forerunner structures were the ones you didn't have to spend forever in, like the one in the "Halo" level, "The Silent Cartographer" and "Assault on the Control Room".

"How May I Direct Your Call?" Sounds like a level from one of the previous games. Though I'm probably just trippin'

You're not trippin at all. It really does.

Did you guys hear that song the "Director" put out? I actually really liked it. It would be cool if they played that at the end of the game kinda like how they do in movies that have a score throughout. Damn, I can't wait for this game.

I hope you're not talking about that horrible "We make bombs" song or whatever that thing was that played at GameTrailers. That was a pretty emo song.

I'm not an emo fan myself. I personally prefer Mos Def, Common, and Kanye but for some reason the song just fit with that trailer.

I think Halo 3's music should be limited to Marty O'Donnell and Michael Salvatori.

If Halo 2 is any indication (it is) mainstream music destroys the atmosphere.

I agree that it should only be what Marty comes up with himself, basically. Not some crappy emo **** to appeal to the idiots who actually listen to it.

Fortunately the Xbox360 allows for a "manual override" of the game's soundtrack, so I'll give the game a playthrough once and if there are any songs I don't like, I'll just destroy them my next time through.
