EXCLUSIVE: In a seven-way bidding war, A24 has landed landed Trigger Point, a drama series spec by writer Harrison Query (JonBenet). Jeremy Saulnier (Rebel Ridge) is attached to direct and executive produce the project, which will be executive produced by former Fifth Season Head of TV Joe Hipps under his exclusive deal at A24.

Hipps has recruited fellow Fifth Season TV executives Patrick McDonald and Katie Giarla to join him at his new company, Cut To. McDonald also will executive produce Trigger Point, with Katie Giarla co-executive producing.

The plot has been kept under wraps; the project is a crime drama, sources said.

Pegged at around $500,000, this may be the biggest TV spec sale so far this year. The goal is to attach talent before taking the project out to platforms, with big-name actors currently circling.
