About a Middle Eastern-American family with two superhero parents forced to save the planet time and again in secret at a time when superheroing is outlawed. Basically Incredibles but with Middle Eastern people.

Well, comedy is a great way to break down barriers. Will and grace made a huge difference to the gay civil rights movement for example

So X-Men-lite as a metaphor for islamophobia, I like the idea but see it as very hard to pull off effectively right now.
On one hand I fear they will restrain themselves a little, on the other if they half bake it, it will not survive.
I trust Youssef and Wilmore, less so ABC.
