Affleck and Alba Join The Killer Inside Me

Nice, big fan of Casey Affleck since Gone Baby Gone. Looking forward to this.

Below you'll find the AFM promo trailer for The Killer Inside Me, which stars Casey Affleck, Jessica Alba, Elias Koteas, Kate Hudson, Bill Pullman, Ned Beatty and Simon Baker. Published in 1952, "The Killer Inside Me" concerns a deputy sheriff in a West Texas town whose kind Everyman demeanor masks his true dark self. He is slowly revealed as a psychotic killer. Spoilers beware!

It pretty much looked like it. I don't know why they would put it online.

As I was watching the trailer I was looking at the runtime and thinking man this is a long trailer.

When I saw how long it was I was like...this has got to be a behind the scenes thing. Hell 3 minutes is enough to give away the whole plot in a trailer.

They have scenes showing characters getting killed.

I guess they gotta show the good stuff to sell to companies to put out the film.

I can understand if that's what they were trying to do. However, if they were trying to put that as an actual trailer they have lost the interest of many since they have shown pretty much the entire plot.

Yeah, i'm sure they could have.

But maybe still people would see the film cause they like the actors involved. And still wanna go see it.

Eh I don't know if I'm going to. I guess we'll see what else they release.

I'm sure it wouldn't be a big commercial film anyway. Just put into so many theaters and then going to dvd a few months later.

Wow, thanks. Good thing i didnt click it.

It looks good thought right?

at what point?

I just wanna fwd to that scene.

Thanks Jessica Alba's Lover, even though you like halloween 2. Your not such a bad guy. :)

So they didn't have faith in people being interested with a 2:30 second trailer so they showed the whole thing?

And then used the score from the Assassination of Jesse James over the last half!

Alba, woah.

For some reason it doesn't really captivate me like the trailer of An American Crime. The beating Jessica gets is pretty rough but not as shocking as the scene from Tell No One (which was very realistic). The story is summed up in that trailer, so why would anybody see it afterwards? I'd recommend the 1971 Japanese film "Vengeance is Mine" if you don't want to get bored as the saps get killed by the main character.
