Lexenberg:

This poll needed a "neither" option.
Said "If you had to choose". "Neither" isn't part of the game.t:
Otherwise there'd be a Gal Gadot option (or a "Where's Gal Gadot?" option) .

I get that it's a "if you had to" thing, but I wonder what the point of such a thing is. To promote complaints about either actor? There's already been some of that without a poll.
To sort of gauge who has the greater fan "outrage" of the two out, see which casting people liked better.
Why do we need to hear about fan outrage? You could have made a "Who's casting are you most excited about?" poll.
Because most the buzz on both castings was unpositive initially.
And judging an actor before he's even shot a scene isn't really something to promote.
But obviously you can do what you want. That's just my opinion on the subject.
I would recast Affleck with Ryan Gosling which would be almost as 'shocking' as the Eisenberg casting.
My reasoning so many moons ago about Gosling getting the Batman role was that his charisma and youthful look would bring a fresh new spin to the Batman character. They gave Luthor a new look with Eisenberg, but Batman is still a middle aged stiff with Affleck. Can you imagine a blonde haired medium build 32 year old Batman if Gosling got the part? It would have been just as exciting as the Luthor casting if not more so.
They're judged by someone before they've shot a scene to get the part. Some without even auditioning (like...over phone calls!), in which case we know just as much of the extent of their acting abilities and what they have to bring to the table as the people involved. I see no harm in it. Everyone has an opinion on things like this.
