The only person I would keep is the guy who played night owl. Maybe. But that could change. and the person they got playing the first silk Spectre should've been cast as the second. Malin Akerman CANT act and she should'nt be in a watchmen film.

I wouldve said Ozymadias as well but after the trailer im actually a bit impressed. Obviously its only one line, but he certainly looked the part.

Im still not massively sure about Silk Spectre cos ive never seen her try to act, but again she just looks too good in that suit for me to not like her. Ive pretty much accepted these people as the characters now.

It was a good choice to go with actors that arent that well known. Theyve all slotted in nicely.

Ozymandias for obvious reasons.

He's the only one I still don't care for, he's too young. In the actual book Ozymandias had a way more chiseled and masculine face, in the film the actor looks like a teenager almost.

Hopefully his performance will make up for it.

I know it's not a huge thing to ***** about but I just can't imagine someone being a genius and mastermind looking like his balls still haven't dropped.

Based on visuals? Ozymandias. And maybe The Comedian. But I haven't seen their performances. If they each bring something very appropriate to the role despite not looking a whole lot like the characters, I'd have to change my mind.

Haven't seent the film so I can't say of course....but base only on looks I have to say Ozymadias, I expected him to look like a calvin kline model and he doesn't look evil enough but he has the arrogant look down

Im sure he'll do good though, the only perfect casting (look-wise) is the comedian and silk spectre

no character should be recast. I may haven't read the graphic novel, but i have read summaries and information from Wilkipedia. This is definitley the perfect cast

Really?? I thought Patrick Wilson's Dan looked spot-on! And Rorschach too. I am so glad they decided to stay close to the book's description...it could have been to easy to bulk him up and make him into 'the ultimate bad-ass' sort of character, but they didn't.

Patrick Wilson as Nite Owl, Matthew Goode as Ozymandias, Malin Akerman as Silk Spectre. Billy Crudup gets a free pass because his CGI but dam do I hate his voice.

Billy Crudup's voice for Manhatten is just...off, I think.

Everyone else is very good from what i've seen so far. Malin Ackerman is sort of surprising me. I expected awfulness and she was actually sort of good in the new trailer. I think Matthew Goode as Ozy will surprise everyone and be a great performance.

I would have liked to have seen an older cast. Mel Gibson as the comedian would have been perfect.

What's funny about the 'rape scene' is that nothing sexual actually happens. HJ busts the comedian up before he has a chance to get at Sally.

It's more of an 'attempted rape scene' to be honest.

And he would totally do it, because he raped all those british dudes with a hatchet in 'The Patriot'.

Regardless, I'll wait to see more before I say if Gibson could've done better - partly because he doesn't look as much like Blake.
