Since the lively discussion in the 'Make a Confession' thread revealed that this board is in no shortage of boozehounds (such as myself) I thought I would start a new thread dedicated solely to this debauched past time.

To get the ball rolling, nothing makes me retch more than a syrupy shot of Jaegermeister. That or my friend likes to buy shots of Sambuca with coffee beans in it. Always makes me sick the next day. What drink gives you the ole rainbow yawn?

Nothing lowers the inhibitions and standards of people faster than alcohol.

I truly love bourbons and whiskey. Booker's and Blanton's are two favourites of mine... albeit pricey!

The first time I ever got really pissed was on tequila... so even now the smell of it will kinda make my stomach turn. I will still drink it though, I just can't start the night with it. :cwink:

I'm a Jack Daniels whiskey hound. Tequila has done me in a couple times though , it either leads to extreme dizziness for me or excessive slurring.

I don't drink nearly as often as I did anymore. Lately it's become either a few Long Island Iced teas, Wine or Sangria's.

Jack Daniels is pretty good eh

I also love Guinness. Not to get drunk on of course, but just to enjoy. I can do 2 or 3 pints of that and I've had my fill.

My roommate in college had his own concoction, which was the single worst drink I've ever tried. He called it a Nazi Taco. If I recall, it had tequila, bacardi 151, tabasco sauce and cracked pepper. It was truly a product of evil incarnate. I haven't talked to him in years. I'm sure that drink got the better of him and he's in an insane asylum somewhere.

^ sounds awful , lol.

Guinness is good. Whenever I go out with friends they always throw random mixed drinks in front of me and one tradition is the Irish Car Bomb

Evan Williams. The poor mans Jack Daniels. Cheaper and does the job. I used to love that crap.

No love huh? :csad:

I can take luke warm shots of it. Something about it gets me going, I guess because I don't mind black liquorice.

It's the consistency more than the taste. It reminds me of the cough-syrup I had to drink as a kid. I like the occasional jaegerbomb because it's diluted by the Red Bull.

Yeah, the Red Bull definitely helps at times. The problem with liking Jaeger is that you end up not knowing what the hell happened the night before.

Cider, larger, whiskey.....in that order for me.

samuca is the only shot that makes sense.

my mother drinks kellogs crunch nut cornflakes with port.

i once drank a litre and a half of vodka in half and hour and ended up in hospital.

my favourite drink is a mango beer i found at a beer festival

i have a desired taste for pale ale from yorkshire because it's reminscant of the taste of urine.

two and a half bottles of wine is my limit drinking wise

my brother holds the record of drinking 17 cans of K (10% cider) and still standing after a night out.

My favorite drink is Jack & Coke. Southern Comfort & Coke is also good, but it's something you have to drink carefully because you can't taste any of the whiskey. I also like Vodka & 7, and I admit to buying Smirnoff's raspberry flavored vodka for that one.

I've had Four Loko before, but it was the changed formula they released after all those deaths. It tastes terrible.

I kinda like the taste of hard cider, but I had to down an entire six pack of them before I started to feel a buzz.

Whiskey
Scotch
Burbon

Straight shot warm. I despise cold liquor unless its a mixed drink.

When I was younger it was mostly cheap imported vodka that did the trick for me. Nowadays I rarely drink much but I do enjoy a cold beer every now and then to finish of a hard day. One of my current faves is an irish beer called Innis & Gunn.

Of all the times I've gotten drunk, I've never had a hangover. Not once. Twice, I've gotten sick from drinking too much. Once was when I drank a 6-pack of cider by myself in about 2 hours. The other was from Southern Comfort.

Anyone here ever had Thai Medicine? I had some in Guam at a Thai bar. It's a red concoction that burns like hell. But good!
