Alternate Endings: Discuss Here

Ahem....spoiler tags, people. Use the spoiler tags. :cmad:

yeh but i think you would expect to see something with all of that blood tho wouldnt you

I love this. Smart move by Fox, sticking it to those people who downloaded it and won't see it in theaters. Love it.

The worst of all IMO was the explanation for Wolverine's memory loss though... *shudders*
I remember fans had, since a long time, the theory that the memory loss, in the comics was because of the healing factor and Logan's longevity. The theory stated that Logan lived for centuries, and his healing factor regenerated his cells so he aged slowly or not at all. This way, his cells died and then new one immediately took their place. But with brain cells, they died normally after a long time, were replaced with new ones, but of course the "data" they contained was lost.

IMO, the way Logan lost his memory in the movie was great. And brutal. Even when there is no blood, I can see a stretch for the PG-13 rating here.

Yea
if you think about it the guy caught two adamantium bullets from a Magnum in the head. That would pierce his skull, destroy his brains, the brains heal back but the memories don't.

I'm sorry, I don't care how much hope it provides for Deadpool, that ending sounds REALLY horrible.

I hope I don't get that one.

how is it a smart move people who watched the leaked version can still watch the film in the cinema if they want to lol there is nothing stopping them and by now they will know about the ending personally i dont think its smart its desperate to try and salvage some fan and try and gain some money for the film that it has lost due to the leaked version

Well, it is smart to try and gain some money for the film that it has lost due to the leaked version :hehe:

78,000 downloads in one day. They surely lost TONS of moola. Think about it.

The leaked version cost them at least $30 million IMO. That's why I feel they did the alternate endings to get people to go anyway to see the endings hoping its better then what they thought.

Sure...it was totally animalistic and visceral to
fake a death with a blood pouch
:whatever:

She could have touched Logan and made him think she was...

All this arguing is making me want to see the movie all the more, just so I can join in.

Valar! I can't wait to see it, no matter how bad it is.

Isn't that what she did in the early script? I'm not sure anymore. In the script she was also the one that caused his memory loss.

Because the mere mention of a possible hidden ending will get alot of the fans who downloaded, watched, and subsequently *****ed non stop about the movie to possibly pay to see the whole thing. Just to see an ending that in all reality could have just been a deleted scene they threw in there at the end to draw more figures. Smart move to me. String that carrot out there a bit more.

The Wade ending is gonna hit youtube sooner or later. But nice try anyway.

Yeah but when you think about that, i find something very interesting.

If the bullets pierce his skull and it heals over....he's got two bone patches on his adamantium skull, leaving his perfect skeleton ruined. But in a way that may explain him getting shot in the head in X2.

Things like this were all i didnt enjoy about the movie. Continuity errors out the ass

She was unconcious, and her pulse was to weak to be felt, if you saw somebody you know like that, covered in blood, without a pulse, you'll be to shocked to look for the wounds.

Hmn. Excellent point.

Don't be silly, anyone here would make an amateur autopsy of they loved ones in that situation :whatever:

I am not talking about his reaction which was warranted, it did leave a gaping plot hole as in what he did with her body afterwards (did he take her to the doctor where they would have seen she had a pulse, did he bury her and giver her a funeral, or did he take her home and wonder where her body went after a while) I am talking about a movie about Wolverine's origin not having a drop of blood in it from the fights and he never bleeds in this film because they made him invincible and unstoppable.

A wizard did it...

er, I mean, I'm sure the police found her, and Stryker took care of it, puling some strings...
