I saw an ad for this and I was like didn't this come out like years ago.

I'm mad that this was allowed to happen. The ending to the original is traumatic.

Absolutely love the original. Turned this remake on last night and didn't make it past the 30 minute mark. Yikes.

The older I get, the more I understand the aversion to most American remakes of foreign films.

The end is more obvious from the beginning and the mother is a bit more sympathetic throughout.

Yeah I wasn't a fan of the original so this remake doesn't give me much hope. Also funny that Naomi Watts is in this when she was also in the remake of Funny Games.
