I will admit that the first three are the best of the bunch. But out of all the DVD ones this seems the least forced. Even having Jim's Dad in this one feels natural unlike the others. It by no means is on par with the originals but it is a fun comedy about sex and coming of age.

wow I never realized how 10 years have passed since the first AP and the majority of the young cast hasn't been in anything that has made an impact of sorts.

The majority of the cast are barely hanging onto careers.

Seann William Scott is in a big studio comedies each year, he's had the best career.
Alyson Hannigan rode out Buffy then joined HIMYM so its been stable for her.
Eugene Levy benefited as his career had already dipped into Direct to VHS and bit parts. I guess he doesn't mind the light work and filming in Canada.
Jennifer Coolidge she hangs in there. Eddie Kaye Thomas had that Fox sitcom. Jason Biggs has made some bad choices.

Once Katie Holmes left Chris Klien that was the end of him. Thomas Ian Nicholas had a guest spot on Grey's Anatomy...

Mena Suvari and Natasha Lyonne make indie films no one sees even for indie films.
Shannon Elizabeth must be enjoying being a co-star in Tom Arnold and Burt Reynolds movies.

Tara Reid is a disaster, no news there. Her new Playboy shoot is one last attempt at getting roles for movies that play in theatres, something that hasn't happened since 2005. If that fails its onto softcore porn cause she's too old for the Direct to DVD American Pie films.

And John Cho seems to have secured himself another ten years worth of films/tv shows which doesn't look good for the rest of the AP cast.

He's settled in future Star Trek and Harold & Kumar sequels, so he's OK.
