i am bored seeing skinny actresses(models) fighting big man and throwing them around. i can see a skinny girl punching very fast but she has no weight and strength to do what she did in the trailer. i do not understand. crossfit and girls looking like they lift heavy weights is now popular for 10 years. why dont they writte characters that have visible muscles?

Well, Valerian was a comic book adaptation. It certainly had a budget and I suppose you can say they went crazy on that one. It didn't turn out well...

Whilst I really like the look of the film what you say is certainly true. Someone maybe more along the lines of Ronda Rousey, who's got the looks and the build (not to say, the moves).

Apparently the lead actress from this was in Valerian. Have to say she didn't make much impression on me. Having said that, it's a film I try to forget anyway!

I mean yes, that's obviously why they take the route they normally do. Part of these characters skill-sets/missions normally involves seducing unwary foreign diplomats/spies/agents, etc. I think most guys in operating in that world would hear alarm bells ringing if someone built like Rousey started to make a play for them!

I dunno, the action looked a bit too manufactured. This looks like late 90s early 2000s cheese. I feel like its wanting to come off like John Wick or Kingsman, but it looks more like if The Transporter was a made-for-TV type cheese.

She could play the world's most unsuccessful seductress and spy.

Her acting skills are just as poor, and Big Barda is meant to tower over others as well. Gina Carano is only about 5'6". They'd have to get some short men, dig trenches or have her standing on boxes the whole time.
