Get ready to barf blood... From undeserving spoof successes Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer comes 20th Century Fox's Vampires Suck, their spoof comedy about contemporary teen angst and romance movies that's hoping to cash in on the Twilight and vampire craze. Becca, an anxious, non-vampire teen, is torn between two boys. Before she can choose, Becca must get around her controlling father, who embarrasses Becca by treating her like a child. Meanwhile, Becca’s friends contend with their own romantic issues – all of which collide at the prom. Prepare to sit in silence on August 18.

Before they made this movie they said "let's hammer a bunch of jokes that have already been said way too many times, and try to cram it all into one ****ty movie."

And those scenes probably won't even be in the movie!

Thats just one of the horrible things about Friedberg and Seltzer. Their trailers and commercials aren't so much for their movies, but the deleted scenes on the DVD, which is good because you won't have to wait too long.

This isn't the sPoof Twilight or Vampire movies deserve. It's another referencial clusterf*** dedicated to things that were annoying or popular in the past 4 months or so. Honestly, I'd rather see a Van Helsing reference than the Jersey Shore crew.

Oh, and another thing I REALLY FRIGGIN' HATE about Friedberg and Seltzer is their horrible tendency to point out their own jokes. Case in point as seen in the trailer, the Jacob character jumps over 'Becca' and turns into a chihuahua. On its own, its not a bad little gag as its the opposite of an oversized wolf. Kinda funny. Then Becca says, with an incredulous look on her face, "A chihuahua!?"

There are 3 reasons having to explain a joke. A) You told it wrong, B) You're audience is stupid or C) IT'S NOT FUNNY!

And they do this with pretty much every joke and "celebrity cameo" they do. A former Mad TV cast member appears as a famous person and somebody says their name questioningly with a baffled look on their face. Hell, they even do this in the trailer.

Narrator: Get ready to GO GAGA.

Vampire boy: I think I finally found someone as freaky as me...

*cut to Lady Gaga impersonator dancing*

Vampire girl: Lady Gaga!?

Vampire boy: Too freaky?

^See that? They FRIGGIN' TOLD YOU THE PUNCHLINE TO THE JOKE BEFORE THEY SET IT UP, told it, pointed it out like you were too stupid to get it, and then just punctuated it with "Too freaky?"

Wow, the movie was leaked 2 days ago no kidding I just saw it and yes, its bad.
Some jokes are a hit but mostly are miss, you might giggle at some point.......and...well theres really not much I cant tell you about it.....its another spoof movie.
I cant obviously put the link in here but if you are a little curious to see this movie then look it up on google.
one more thing, actually two....things:
1)You might enjoy this movie if you are drunk/high. (trust me)
2)You might enjoy this movie if you really REALLY hate Twilight.

I watched it out of sheer bordom and its crappy as ever. I won't get those 76 minutes back. Yeah, its only 76 mins, until they ad like 15 mins of credits like they do all their other movies.

I'm all for spoof movies, but come on, this looks absolutely terrible. At least there's some semblance of semi-clever humor: Edward preening himself with a handheld mirror, making fun of the rabid fanbase and Jacob turning into a Chihuahua rather than a huge wolf.

Still, it looks pretty awful. And why do you guys constantly moan about these movies constantly being cranked out? They're made for pennies and shot quickly, and a $30-40M domestic gross turns out an easy profit. If Vampires Suck makes as much money as Epic Movie and Date Movie did, expect to see another 'spoof' movie or VS sequel out next year.

It odes look terrible but probably better than the others. I did chuckle at the Black Eye Pees reference but I wouldn't brave this movie because of that.

While the Twilight movies totally desreve to be made fun of, I think it should have been put into more capable hands. Like National Lampoon, Mel Brooks, or The Wayans Brothers. These two deuche bags can come up with a few good jokes here and there (for instance in Meet The Spartans, where Britney Spears gets kicked into The Pit Of Death, the Spartans skip off to war hand in hand singing "I Will Survive", and then face Xerxes' troops in a "Yo Momma" contest I found funny. The rest? Meh). Unfortunately they can't pull off enough funny gags to make a funny movie. They should just write sketches for SNL or Mad TV, where one or two funny jokes/gags is all they really need.

This movie looks as horrible and unoriginal as the other flicks. Honestly, a Twilght Spoof would be funny but this movie isn't going to be funny.
