Anybody gotten to see a 40th anniversary screening of Superman?

Superman is a pure delight, a wondrous combination of all the old-fashioned things we never really get tired of: adventure and romance, heroes and villains, earthshaking special effects, and -- you know what else? Wit

Wanna rip off Gene Siskel while you're at it?

mosesbrodin's post is from Roger Ebert's review of Superman. But does he cite Roger Ebert? No. Does he even use quotation marks to show they're not his own words? No.

No I get that, but I'm just wondering why , given someone's literally just joined, they're met with such a blunt way of presenting that information. You could present your point with a wee bit more politeness and sensitivity, it's hardly a warm welcome is it ?

Doesn't matter to me. If someone's gonna rip off someone else's words, I don't care if they've just joined.

Putting all that aside RIP Roger Ebert. Didn't always agree with him but more often than not he captured the essence of a film with a few choice words - and with Superman the Movie he was spot on.

Will remember to watch it before the ends, cheers.

The ends of what?

I'll be watching it in the cinema next month :super:

I went to an NYC screening in late November, just after Thanksgiving. It had a decent enough turnout.
