Anyone heard of "Stub Hub" to buy stuff?

Have you guys had any experience with this website?

My lady wants to purchase or bid on something there, but I told I'd never heard of it???

Can anyone verify the credentials of this place? She won't tell me what she's buying because it's a surprise for my birthday...not that that helps us uncover any more truth.

It's quite legit. I've bought tix off of Stubhub twice, didn't have a bit of trouble. It's set up so you are guaranteed to get your tix. Think of Stubhub as broker...

- Someone else has tickets for sale.
- You want said tickets.
- Stubhub is the third party that makes sure you get them.

Easy.

Yeah, I've seen their ads on TV, it's the way most people I know get Cubs tickets.

I get my tickets from 2 places. The box office at the venue or from the team's website.

I wonder if some people would buy a plane ticket from a third party site
