I'm kind of assembling a list of books that I want to read right after this college semester finishes, that I hope to have done before next semester...

This is my tentative list

Lord of the Flies by William Golding
Thus Spoke Zarathurstra by Nietzsche
John Carter of Mars by Edgar Rice Burroughs
The Wastelands by Stephen King
The Wounded Land by Stephen R. Donaldson
Being and Nothingness by Jean-Paul Sartre
Clash of Civilizations by Sam Huntington
Communist Manifesto by Marx
The Peloponnesian War by Thucydides

Now to top off this lovely compilation of Pulp, Fantasy, Philosophy, Political Theory, etc... I've been thinking of adding Ulysses by James Joyce, I read The portrait of the artist as a young man for one of my Literature classes this year and I loved it. I'm not going bull**** anyone and say it was easy reading, but it's one of those books you invest in and receive quite a bit back. However Portrait was 128 pages while Ulysses is a massive 726!! Just curious what some of the posters around here thought of the book.
