Anyone still here from the good ol' days?

This is my first time back on this forum in probably 7 years, maybe longer. I used to go by Sarge (originally Sgt. Homestar because I was 13 when I first registered) and then Sarge 2.0. I was an active participant in the legendary "I met a very attractive waitress" thread, and tons of community goofery, as well as the Wrestling thread and the original Bat Boards. Anyone from those days still around? I remember Clerk, Dew, Wilhelm-Scream, Toven, Equint, Erzengel, Jag, Hunter Rider, AndthePickles, DBella, the Original Bamfer, Dog Lips, and lots of others. Anyone from those days still kicking 'round these parts?

Nah, i jumped on when it expanded to SuperheroHype in 2003, around the time that the Batman reboot was starting to get under way, just before Nolan and Bale were involved and it was still in the scripting stage. My most active period was probably like 2006-2009.

Any particular reason why you went through three profiles/usernames since then? I miss the banter between HollyGoodhead and JAL (he changed his name too a few times after he got picked on for his pseudo stalker-like behavior and fabricated stories).

I honestly forget what happened to my original profile, and the email address associated with the Sarge 2.0 profile is lost to the sands of time. I figured it would be easier to just start a new account rather than try to recover the old one. I'm lazy like that.

lol I have no clue, I know people knew The Apatow Crew was JAL (even if he kept denying it). I'd imagine he made a few more profiles since then to hide his identity. Or he could be locked up somewhere by now.

I've been visiting the Hype daily since the good ol' days when it was called Spider-Man Hype. I remember the Organic vs Mech webshooters debate.....lol.

I lurked for the first few years and joined in 2005 in the lead up to Superman Returns. That film sparked some good debates, too, lol.

Back then I went by the name Super-Bats. I've since gone through multiple identities before finally settling on X Knight.

Don't know if anyone remembers me as Super-Bats, but I do still see a few other "old timers" that I remember from back then, like I SEE SPIDEY.

I feel old now.

I'm more of a lurker than an active participant on SHH (my comic-book nerd level is only about 50%, and clearly a lot less than the average Hypester's), but I too remember when this site was still called Spider-Man Hype, and that debate about organics vs mech webshooters, along with Venom in Spider-Man's eye, and the days of "BALE DAMMIT!" (I was on that train myself too). Oh and I also remember back when Mirko was still around and actually posted in the forums from time to time. I wonder what he's doing now?
