I've only seen some of How I Met Your Mother and Doctor Who. Both are good.

Battlestar Galactica is worth watching to anyone who has a working brain and pair of eyes.

Stargate SG-1 is worth watching for light, sci fi fun with a lot of solid dialogue and well-timed humor.

Reaper is still kind of figuring out what kind of show it wants to be, but in spite of its slow start it's getting pretty good now if you don't mind the CW's usual level of convoluted relationship troubles and young adult angst.

Doctor Who is even lighter sci fi fun than Stargate. Basically, it's a decent show if you never, ever think about anything it shows you too much.

I don't watch the other two, so I can't help you there.

Stargate SG1 - Yes (first seven seasons are the best)

Reaper - Yes (Ray Wise is the perfect Devil)

Doctor Who (New series) - Yes

How I Met Your Mother - Don't watch it

The Big Bang Theory - Meh. Funny moments, but can take it or leave it.

Reaper - definitly, my favourite show of the moment, comedy/supernatural

Doctor Who(new series) up until last series i would have said yes, but this series has been guff- i cant stand Catherine Tait(assistant) she is a terrible acctress and the story quality has went down hill

How i met your mother - hilarious, only recently started watching it NPH owns

The big bang theory - Started really well, was hilarious, its ok now but nothing special

How I Met Your Mother - Pretty funny, however, the best jokes are the inside ones for people who have been watching since the beginning

Nu-Who is quality ... it has its fair share of dodgy episodes but when its good its VERY good.

A few years ago the idea of Dr Who ever coming back would have made me cringe, I did not see how they could ever make this generation enjoy such a show ... but they did it.

Reaper - Must see TV it's very funny.
Doctor Who (New series) - Very good as long as you don't get bogged down with the old who obsessives, who will never be happy so don't stop *****ing.
How I Met Your Mother - One of the best sitcom's in years.

Definately Yes to BSG and Reaper. Never watched Big Bang Theory, Stargate or Doctor Who and dont care to. HIMYM is pretty funny.

A lot of my friends are really into BSG...pretty much everyone is...HA!

I love HIMYM...

And, I think they show some of the older Dr. Who's on PBS around here.

They're actually gonna have a pretty good special on Muslim-American comics this evening at 10, if you're still looking for something new to check out.

This one dude, Ahmed Ahmed, is particularly funny...

In my opinion...

Battlestar Galactica- Yes. but only if you start from the beginning, you pick this up in the middle and you will be totally lost.
Stargate SG1- don't know, I've never gotten into.
Reaper- don't know. but the pilot's by Kevin Smith, so it can't be all bad.
Doctor Who (New series)- yes, yes a thousand times yes.
How I Met Your Mother - absolutely, by far it's the funniest sit com on TV now, and possibly ever. I rank it up there with Arrested development.
The Big Bang Theory- ... never heard of it.

Really? I only watched one or two episodes, but it didn't strike me as being anywhere near Arrested Development's quality. It had a couple of decent laughs, but it didn't really grab me.

If you watch it from the beginning, and watch closely, it keeps adding more and more call-back jokes and little in jokes.

and maybe comparing it to Arrested Development is a little high, but it's gotten close quite a few times.

Hmm, I guess that's why. The episodes I saw were fairly early ones. My favorite sitcom right now is 30 Rock, but even that didn't grab me right from the beginning. It really grew on me over time.

yeah, season two is where it really hit its' stride. season one was good, but it takes a little while ot get completely sucked in.

Seriously, give HIMYM a chance, its very good. Neil Patrick Harris is really funny init. Id pass on tha nu Dr who tho

How I Met Your Mother is great. I would recommend watching this one. NPH is hilarious

Big Bang Theory is a hit or miss also, but I think you should give it a try.

BSG is fantastic, and very addictive. I had only caught a few eps here and there and have started watching it regularly this season (season 4) and am highly enjoying it. One of the best shows on tv!

Stargate SGI is a good series, was fantastic until Jack left (it started to drag a little once he was gone) and then got great again in the last two seasons (at least to me) with the introduction of the Ori storyline. The problem with this show was...the network couldn't make up its mind about letting the show end, so it got dragged out because the writers were never sure if the current season they would be working on at the time was the last one or not...

HIMYM is something I sat through a couple of eps of and quickly lost interest in. I found it to be somewhat dull to be honest, and I really wanted to love it because Allison Hannigan and Neil Patrick Harris both star in it...but it just didn't make me laugh and I didn't find it all that enjoyable. I have heard it's gotten much better though.

The other shows listed I've never seen.

A little, but not too much. I had seen some eps here and there before I finally started watching it the night it airs, so I knew a little bit about what was going on. Plus, my mother (a huge fan of the show since the miniseries) would explain stuff if I had missed it.

I'm in the process of watching it from the beginning. I love the mythology of this show!
