This was taken from a mural at the Turkish War Musem, it depicts the Fall of Constantinople at the hands of Sultan Mehmet, who would forever be known afterwards as "The Conquerer"

Note the canon, even in its earliest form it was a representation of phallic power and the dominance man would inflict upon his foe.

Reminiscent to my posting of Dulle Griet earlier. It's a painting representing the invasion of hell by the titular Griet and her army of women. You'll note however, on the bottom right hand corner is a small cluster of male knights, dudebros if you will, trying to hold a bottleneck and survive the literal hell Griet and her woman are causing. One empathises.
