These delays are tragic. They should have just moved it to October 2025 for starters, as I don't think the Ubisoft situation isn't getting better quickly.

I think the exploration part of this is already a winner.

The reason why I didn't like Valhalla so much was the open world wasn't very satisfying. Norway was quite underused and even if the Norway section is still big in size, there's nothing much to do there. Vinland was cool too but there's nothing to do after you completed things. Asgard looked ugly imo. Jotunheim was fine though it looked like a movie set. The England map was very drab and a bit haunted, which is like the total opposite of the lively/busy environment of Syndicate. I hated those cursed objects, it felt like I was suddenly in a horror game when those sounds popped out and finding those objects sometimes took me forever. They also had these platformers location side quests (that were glitches from the animus) which were fun, but you can't replay them unless you start from scratch.

I don't think Japan of Shadows looks as good as Ghost of Tsushima. I feel like the colors in Ghost of Tsushima pop out more. But knowing Ubisoft, they would probably fill these with hundreds of collectibles/side quests and with a beautiful backdrop, it should be a lot more rewarding compare to Valhalla.

I haven't seen the story trailer yet, I feel like story in general, is the Ubisoft's weakness when it comes to their games. So I don't expect anything. But I'm interested to see if we are going to see Basim in the modern day section of this game. That was such a twist in Valhalla and I just remembered I played him in Mirage. So I'm interested to see what he's gonna do next.
