I am looking for Avengers Assemble, Vol. 2.
Barnes N Noble said they can't order it, can't, and amazon reports it being like $177.99 or something high like that.
Can anyone tell me where I can find this for a lower price?

I believe the OSHC are out of print thus the high price. Several months ago a TPB of vol. 1 was releashed but nothing solicited since.
Might there be a Kurt Busiek Avengers Assemble Omnibus next year ? There was a TPB vol. 1 last year but nothing solicited since.

Thanks.
I was able to get vol 1. and it was great, but now I cannot find vol. 2 anywhere. I guess it would be hard to find a book that has been out of print since 2005, but I didn't think it be impossible. I suppose I could just get the small individual story arcs. What came after Avengers Assemble vol 1? It ended with issue #11 (Grim Reaper using dead Avengers against the living ones and ending with [BLACKOUT]Wonder Man back alive.[/BLACKOUT])

What book should I be looking for, if not vol 2?
Avengers: Clear and Present Danger?
Avengers: Ultron Unlimited?
Avengers: Living Legends (have it)
Avengers/Thunderbolts Vol. #1: The Nefaria Protocols?
Avengers #35-40? What this about, says its not reprinted?
Avengers: The Kang Dynasty (this still have George Perez?)

When George Perez drop off the book? When did Busiek?

Thanks.

Clear and Present Danger picks up where you left off at the Grim Reaper "Dead Avengers" arc. There's a gap between that and Ultron Unlimited (#12-18 not sure if that's collected in a trade). After Ultron is the Living Legends book, then the T-Bolts/Nefaria book (Perez's final arc).

After that is issues #35-40 with all filler leading into the Kang Dynasty including the Maximum Security tie in, Avengers vs Pagan and Templar, The Bloodwraith in Slorenia and Diablo turning residents in a Greek town into Hulks (all of Alan Davis penciled books). With the exception of the Diablo arc, all played an important role in The Kang Dynasty.

One of the most outstanding runs in Avengers history by a single writer. :yay:

So wait, which ones did Alan Davis draw? Who drew Kang Dynasty?
Maybe i will just order these then.
thanks.

JRJR drew #35 and then Epting did #36-37. Alan Davis drew #38-40 then 41-43 of the Kang Dynasty. Manuel Garcia, Ivan Reis and Kieron Dwyer all drew the rest of the Kang saga from there in that order. Davis was supposed to be the long term Avengers artist but only lasted 6 months. To this day I have no idea what happened or why he left so soon. It took a while before they got a regular penciler (Dwyer) in there.

Thanks. I'll look into it. I feel like my art is better when I am reading George Perez. I also like Alan Davis, Romita Jr, and Kang is a great character.
Thanks.
