I'm surprised, I thought Kenan and Kel weren't on the greatest terms.
I like him. Maybe it's because I grew up on All That and Kenan and Kel, but like you said he's a good utility player and he's been a crucial part of some great SNL sketches, imo. What's Up With That? and the one where he's the kid with the broken leg that his classmates keep trying get him to "overcome" it spring to mind. And he does some great reaction shots, lol.I think they've patched things up. I mean they've had a few joint appearances on shows in the last three to four years or so.
That said... Think about this...
Kenan is the Grand Puba of Sketch Comedy in America. He's been doing since he was essentially a teenager in the 90's. Yet I honestly know not one person that likes him post his Nick days.
I actually think he's underrated. A journeyman type performer to a degree with no great standout bit or character but I think he's funnier than most give him credit for.
