Axis Powers Hetalia: Bishounen. World History. Hints of yaoi. And a whole lot of weirdness.
It's a lot better than it sounds actually.
Essentially, APH is a popular Japanese series about people who are like these physical representations of various countries and the stereotypes associated with them (America being a loudmouth, England being overly stuffy, Japan being obssessed with politeness, etc). It is educational, mixed with some silliness, occasionally touching, and potentially offensive. Starting off as a webcomic, Hetalia garnered a strong fan following, and was eventually published in print form. An anime adaptation has also come out.
So anyone seen this? Curious to check it out?
Because who would have thunk that facism could look so Moe?
