I was trying to find out what shoes is Heath wearing in the bank robbery ?

Last year when they was filming there was spy pictures of the robbers at the front of the band standing with heath.


Anyone know where these shots are and what shoes Ledger has on ?

what's weird is that he had those before filming as well...does anybody happen to have "that pic" of him crossing the street with skateboard-in-hand with a purple hoody and his friend next to him a week or so after being cast as MR J i'm going crazy looking for it....i'm sure these shoes are on there as well.

My girlfriend is a shoe expert (she is a shoe sales wonder woman) and she says that those shoes are either Ben Sherman, Laccoste, or Cole Hahn.

The best I can find as a real-world comparison is something like the following:

Those are very similar, in fact I almost bought a pair that looked close the other day at Aldo before seeing this thread. The odd thing about Ledger's pair is the two stripes continue all the way to the laces and the laced up area looks much slimmer than most shoes.

you are not going to either because they are custom. i would find some old wingtips and customize them a bit, but thats as close as youare going to get.

shoe expert? ben sherman? laccoste? no, nope, and nada. they are custom shoes.

i am probably just going to customize an old pair of wingtips. im going to reshape the toe so that it has the bulbous "clown shoe" look and distress them so they are closer to heath's. if anyone can find something closer please share

I think ur GF is right about Ben Sherman, but obviously these are custom, you could buy a pair of ben shermans, whihc luckily i have and they look similar but they are black and probs need a bit of customising.

i have never seen a pair of ben sherman shoes that are even remotely close to joker's shoes. in fact i dont think ben sherman even makes oxfords at all.

I'd say that theres the possibility that they might make a costume for it, if there are going to release all those batsuits and scarecrow masks for Begins, why not have a Joker outfit for Dark Knight.

I would wear those socks EVERYWHERE.
