Do you want to see the Tumbler "just the way it was sir"? "Yeah why?" Or a modified/revised Tumbler? For those that caught one of the viral videos back in June on the GCN site. One such video featured an interview with Fredericks (board member from Batman Begins - "the apple has fallen very far from the tree Mr. Wayne"). Who was being questioned regarding Wayne Enterprises procuring and developing exotic and advanced technology - such as stealth turbine blades. Would this suggest a Batwing/Batclaw? How the aircraft would fit into the plot I do not know - unless Batman goes abroad again.

What of the Bat-cave and Alfred commenting on "improving the foundations of the south-east corner"?

Anyway whatever vehicles or gadgets. Name them and if you want to illustrate them!

I think the cave would be the most likely new thing we see; the house has got to get finished eventually dammit!

Batwing would be nice but with his current status he'd have to really need use it for it make an appearance at all.

For everyone who wants more DCU refernces why don't we see Batman adapt Charles McNider's greatest invention?

I can't remember but has Batman had to use a rebeather at all?

At this point... we still need a new Batmobile. And a new cave... that would cover the vast majority of, y'know... all the new tech one can stand.

As for new gadgets, I'd love to see some, but not at the expense of realism. I think the smoke pellets would be a great advancement, honestly, as well as some kind of bonding agent, and mini-torch.

I do, personally, think it would be pretty cool to see, a boat or aircraft employed, for perhaps any reason. A sophisticated computer set up, as well. But I'm not sure how important that would be.

Check out this viral video :-

About 3/4 of the way (just after Bruce Wayne's hilarious interview) the reporter asks Fredericks about high-tech technology. Much of it including the stealth turbine blades sound as if they're destined for a future Batwing/Batclaw?

But if Fox did indeed resign and is not coming back in the sequel, who's going to built everything for Batman?

Both Wayne and Alfred both seem pretty savvy with tech stuff, and just because Lucius isn't at Wayne Enterprises doesn't mean he can't occasionally offer his two cents.

Fox is still with him...

Fox said that he wouldn't continue as long as that cell phone sonar device was still being used.. well.. when Fox typed his name into the computer, that same device was no more.. and as the camera was on Fox's face while he began to smile.. you can hear batman's voice over the scene saying... something about faith being restored..

Here's a quote from Nathan Crowley, the Production Designer, regarding the next Bat-Vehicle:

Crowley: I'd quite like to do a Batboat. I like the water. I'd much rather design a Batboat than a Batplane. The Batboat from my perspective is achievable whereas the Batplane isn't very. But a Batboat would be fun.

EXACTLY. With all the river channels running through the interior of Chicago AND the design of Gotham, a boat would be the most realistic. The city and Wayne Manor border water as well. I could see something in the next film easily.

Some of you might remember I was a big supporter of the boat for TDK.

P.S. - I still don't understand why people think Fox RESIGNED. HE DID NOT, watch the film again, LOL.

I hope there's no Batplane. He glides around the city with the cape so a Batplane would be redundant.

Yeah.. but just imagine the batplane coming to pick Bruce up instead of the other plane he used to extract Lau out of his building in china. That woulda been sweet!

Now that BATMAN is being Hunted by the POLICE, wouldn't riding around in a BATMOBILE make him stick out like a sore thumb? I would think if it were BATMAN'S intention to still fight crime and avoid detection by the police he would scrap the Batmobile all together and just basically do it the old school way of Grappling Hooks and Gliding.

Seeing Bruce Wayne handle a fast powered speed boat is alot more credible in NOlan's Realistic world, to me anyways, than seeing him suddenly hop in a "Super Sonic" Amry rejected modified Stealth Bomber and rocket around the skys of Gotham.

I mean you all did check out Battlefield:Earth yes? That didn't go over that well.

Of course you could always say..."Well Bruce is a Billionarie, he takes flying lessons."

I don't know...are there really going to be Villians in the sky? Is Penguin going to have a giant Blimp? or was that Ra's from the Animated Series? Maybe both.:brucebat:

One important thing to remember is how hard it would be for Batman to fly a plane around without getting permission from the FAA, especially after 9/11. Even if his plane is stealth based, he'd be getting a lot of unwanted attention from the authorities if he's just flying it around wherever he pleases. The Batwing is one of my favorite Batman vehicles, so while I would love to see Nolan's take on it, I'm not sure if it would fit in at this point in Batman's career (what with the police being on his tail and all).

I think that the new Batmobile and the completed Batcave, along with the possibility of a Batboat would be the biggest additions in the next movie.

I'd like to see Batman riding the Pod at the beginning, moving back to Wayne Manor, complete with new Batcave and then getting his new Batmobile from Lucius. I'd like to see a new improved Tumbler :yay:
