Batman Elimination Game:
Best Movie Moment/Sequence (BATMAN BEGINS)
Best Movie Moment/Sequence (BATMAN BEGINS)
Aww Sooky Sooky! Movie Fun with Batman Begins! I love this film. I love the '89 flick too, but this start to a new franchise gives me joy-joy feelings to this day. Because of my undeniable giddiness (as well as an indifference to culling the list), there are 20 choices to choose from. Vive La Démocratie!!!
I'm still not crazy about the name though. 'Batman Begins'. Come on. Especially since they switched up to another style for the sequel. Why not call the first film The Dark Knight? I was looking for a sequel termed something comparable to Batman Strikes, Batman Attacks or Batman [insert whatever verb]. I also had fleeting hopes for wacky, derivative-titled fanfilms to be made; Batman Pauses (for Lunch), Batman Oscillates, Batman Psyches You Out By Starting, Stopping, Then Starting Again, etc. God, I need help.
Basic Rules: You subtract one point from a moment you don't like and add a point onto another moment that you do like, until (much like the number of Bat-films it took to usher Katie Holmes' ass out the door) there is only one. You can only post once in 60 minutes, meaning every 60 minutes you can vote to give everyone a chance.
This round was suggested by Christopher Nolan, David Goyer, Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Cillian Murphy and Morgan Freeman. I'm serious. I got a call from Alan Horn who patched me into a conference call with the aforementioned. They made a simple request and sweetened the deal by sending over some roast beef & swiss sandwiches on pumpernickel. Now, that's good uptown eatin'.
Guys, please be careful with your posts. These games are subject to getting off track with missed tallies due to simple error. After your post, please check that it accurately reflects what you wanted and that no other post came through before you were able to submit yours. Also, if you see an error has been made, feel free to call attention to it or correct it yourself with another post. Thanx.
I don't need protection!
Contrary to the face value of that statement, I'm 89% certain that Batman believes in practicing safe sex.
