This includes his stints at voicing the Caped Crusader on "The New Adventures of Batman" and "Super Friends":

I remember waiting for it with great anticipation, I had been reading the comic for a couple of years and was really eager to see it brought to life. I even went to a friend's house to see it for the first time because he had a color TV and I didn't. I had a great time watching it, but I will admit being a little disturbed by the Batusi. The first season wasn't too bad when they did stories and characters right from the comics. After that, it went downhill fast, especially when they started making up their own villians (Egghead, Marsha,Queen of Diamonds, Louie the Lilac, etc.). That was about the time I realised it was actually a comedy that was making fun of Batman, and I was liking the show less and less. And I also didn't care for the influence it had on the comics, then, and for a number of years afterwards. However, I am grateful for the fact that if it wasn't for the show, Batman would likely not be around anymore.
And there was those few episodes at the beginning weren't all that bad. All things considered, I'm glad it happened.
The cartoons, however were horrible from the get-go.
