Battles u though were going to happen because of Tv spots/trailers?

Everytime I see that footage blowing Jeans hair and then blowings Storm hair It made me think they were gonna fight as seen here. Any else

I didn't think they'd show almost every scene with Scott in the trailers and online clips. I had hoped they'd do this to mislead us into thinking we'd already seen everything there was, after the script spill.

One of the biggest mistakes in my opinion about "Phoenix" is that there wasn't a team battle versus her, like the comics, and animated series.

I didn't see it that way. I looked at it from a more emotional and PRACTICAL aspect. If she's blowing up everything in sight it's not really smart for the other X-Men to try and fight her since, they'd all be dead. lol.

That's not how it happened in the comics or in the animation series, they ALL faught against her as a TEAM. Everything starts with the writers they could have made something more intresting then what they gave us. I'm not complaining about the movie I really enjoyed myself, I just found it hard to believe that Wolverine took out the Pheonix all on his own.

Probably so but they have their reasons I'm sure. I think they wanted to try and make it more emotional and dare i say, epic? With Logan killing her. I felt it was a tad rushed though. Her death that is.

Jean called Scott at the begining, and killed him, (suddenly, without a reason, ), then called Logan, had a few scenes with him, without kill him (why?... because is Hugh Jackman, the "star" of this saga ), and at the end, she fighted only with him letting he kill her, (why?... because he is the "star" and the hero of the saga and to Fox and company)

rushed... hmm yeah a lot of it is. Storm with her control of weather agrees he's the only one who can spank phoenix and that was... fast... her quick change to jean in the end was ok enough but logan just stabbing her without much hesitation was pretty fast, what if she was more in control now. Not that she doesn't deserve a stab, but... heh... she was back.
