Beating the school system

The school server is really making me mad, does anyone know how to by pass Lightspeed Systems, there is a Logfile from this computer of what's running, we use to be able just google search the catched the site, and saw most of it now we can't and it's makin me mad. When I go to 89% of the the sites I need to for school, it blocks it for stupid reason. One site I couldn't see cause it characterized Image Shack as "Porn.Child" I really don't want to download a poxy to the school computer, but if I have to I will. But it's really they are blocking most sites that can actually helpful, I'm thankful I can get on hype, but it makes me mad that we can only get on like 10 sites it feels like. If you have any suggestions please help.

Simple solution: Don't search the internet in class and do your homework.

This probably doesn't work anymore but when I was in school the site blockers were pretty primitive and you could bypass them by entering the IP address of the desired website directly into the address bar. If you didn't know the IP address you could figure it out by pinging it. This worked because the site blocker just checked the value of the address bar against a list of blocked URLs.

Like I said I don't know if that still works though, probably not with newer blockers.

Simple solution: Don't search the internet in class and do your homework.

No homework, and if I did have homework involving the nets, 1/2 of the stuff is blocked.
