Great. It'll go wonderful with the iMenstruate.

Wow... like... iPhone or iPod but to big to fit neatly in your pocket. iCould give a **** less.

It looks pointless to me. Why not just have a laptop? You more than likely could find a laptop cheaper than this, and you could probably do more with it.

Well, the main point of using a tablet is to be able to read a book on the go, and iPad looks like it can do it better than any tablets out there, plus like iPhone/iPod Touch you can use it for all other things such as apps, iTunes, movies, etc. I think if you are going to buy a tablet (and not a laptop), iPad may be a good product to get (once its price is reasonable). You may say that you'd rather get a iPhone/iPod Touch, but iPad's bigger screen makes it ideal to read books. I think if magazines decided to make their issues browse-friendly with iPad, this will be even more enticing.

Jobs then went back to his hotel room for his afternoon baby seal clubbing, after which he wipes the sweat from his brow with 100 dollar bills

It's a mac, and Job's had a hand in making it. I'm confident it will have the competition struggling trying to keep up, just like with the iPods & iPhones.

We all wondered what the **** you would need something like an ipod touch or iphone for, and now look. People will buy this thing.

Eh, it looks fancy, but I already got a iPod Touch so i wont need this.

As much of a build-up as this was it was a complete disappointment in everything but price. I haven't read one article so far where anyone was impressed. It's a great big iPhone, that's it. Sure, it might be nice to read books/magazines but who wants to pay $600+ dollars (and potentially an extra $30 on top of that for 3G access) for a fancy Kindle? I was truly expecting something "innovative" and this missed the mark big time. STILL no flash support? Seriously? You can't even run multiple apps at one time. It doesn't change the fact that people will buy it cause it's a new "gadget." Nor does that change the fact that it's a big disappointment for what was promised.

Well i:facepalm: every time iHear about these lame Apple circle jerk parties.:cmad:

That's why I think it's pointless. All that money could be spent buying actual books or magazines. I would rather spend $600 on various literature than buying something to view it on.

I might buy this if you can download documents and files to the device like an actual laptop. If it's just a larger iPod Touch then no thanks!

It's a larger Ipod touch with:

- No Flash

- No multitasking

- No Camera

- No iChat

- No HDMI

This thing is a complete waste of money. Instead of being a mix between an Ipod touch and a Mac, it's becomes an oversized Ipod Touch.

So we all agree... It's too expensive, a piece of ****, and has a ****** name.

Who's getting one?
