I agree Hugh's American accent is very impressive, considering the fact that out of all the actors mentioned, Hugh probably speaks the broadest 'Queen's English' of the lot.

I agreed with everyone choices for best American accents done by British actors, but as far as British accents from american actors all you have to do is look at a Joss Whedon show.

Even Summer Glau did a good british accent in the Shindig episode of Firefly.

I think Denisof put less effort into his accent on Angel. Then again, I think Wes was supposed to have lived in the US for a year or two, and the character could've just been trying to sound less proper and more American.

The guy who plays Gavin Harris in the Goal! movies is American but you'd never know it by listening to him.
