Best and Worst Voice Recasts in Animation History

The awful voicecast from the horrific Sonic X anime.

They ended up replacing the voiceactors from the videogame series. (Ryan Drummond was an excellent Sonic, who had been voicing the character since the first Sonic Adventure came out on the Dreamcast way back in 1999. Drummond got fired so the 'Sonic X' guy could voice the character instead.)

Don't even get me started on the new voiceactor for Tails.

I liked George Newbern as Superman more than Tim Daly.

Outside of that Seinfeld AMEX commercial and some bit's on Family Guy, I don't him ever doing the voice for DC animation.

Wow, someone who actually prefers George! Seriously, I could not stand his voice.

I never watched STAS as much as I did BTAS. So when JL started, I didn't remember Daly's voice. When I heard it later, my thought was "meh, he's alright but he's not the Conroy of Superman." Both are fine, I'm just used to Newbern so I prefer him a little more.

Grammar fail

Here's a good recast, and one I found out recently. In "Be Prepared" (Scar's song from Lion King), Jeremy Irons threw out his voice after "You won't get a sniff without me" and Jim Cummings finished the rest of the song. You can tell it's Cummings because it sounds similar to Pete (the Disney character) at some points and Cummings has voiced Pete since Goof Troop. If you want to go to that point in the song, it's around 2:20 in this clip
